Each year, Audubon Texas honors visionary leaders with the Terry Hershey Award, named after the legendary Houston conservationist. This year, we’re bringing together all past honorees to celebrate them and recognize our Tenth Anniversary Legacy Awardee: Mrs. Lady Bird Johnson.
Guests will enjoy an evening of light bites and drinks, engaging conversations with conservation changemakers, and a heartfelt celebration of the legacy, leadership, and future of conservation in Texas.
Attendees will also enjoy an exclusive preview of the upcoming book, Wild Women for Good: Stories of Conservation in Texas, by Jennifer Bristol, well-known Texas conservationist and author. Inspired by Terry Hershey Award honorees, the book highlights their enduring impact and celebrates the powerful legacy of women leading conservation efforts across the state.
