Join Slow Trails for a co-hosted sound bath and forest bathing event is a unique experience that combines the therapeutic benefits of both practices to provide a deeply relaxing and rejuvenating experience.
You will start with a guided forest bathing walk led by Laurence, Certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide. The walk will allow you to connect with nature and reap the benefits of spending time outdoors. This practice involves immersing oneself in nature and engaging all the senses to experience the surroundings fully. Participants are encouraged to breathe deeply, listen to the sounds of the forest, and take in the natural environment's sights, smells, and textures.
After Forest Bathing, you will go inside the beautiful Trout Lily room with its floor-to-ceiling windows, where Master Sound Healer Erin Cruz will lead the Sound Bath. Participants will lie comfortably while listening to the soothing sounds of instruments such as crystal bowls, chimes, and gongs. The vibrations from the instruments help to calm the mind and release tension from the body.
At the end of the session, they will serve Tea and a light snack.
The sound bath and forest bathing create a serene and peaceful experience that promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and fosters a deeper connection with oneself and nature.
What to wear: comfortable clothes, walking shoes, and a hat.
What to bring: Water, Yoga Mat, and a light layer and a pillow to keep you comfortable.
$5 off your ticket will go to Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center as a donation.
