The Naturepause - Deep Winter Rest

February 08, 2025 - Cedar Hill, TX

Tickets

Winter is a time for rest and rejuvenation. Join Laurence and Slow Trails Forest Bathing and Nature Therapy at Dogwood Canyon Audubon, a beautiful green space just south of Dallas , where nature is protected and provides the perfect setting to slow down and connect with the energy of winter.

As you walk through the Canyon Floor Trail, Laurence will guide you through mindfulness practices, gentle movements, and forest bathing , allowing you to sink into the stillness of nature. Winter offers a unique opportunity to rest deeply, release tension, and find inner calm .

After our outdoor walk, you’ll head indoors for a special Yoga Nidra session , accompanied by soothing nature sounds . This guided meditation will help you enter a state of deep relaxation.

Following the Yoga Nidra, you’ll gather for a cozy tea ceremony, where we can reflect on our experience and connect with each other in a supportive space. It’s the perfect way to close the session, feeling rested, grounded, and connected.

Meet: Dogwood Canyon Audubon. After parking, head to the main entrance, and we’ll meet inside. Google Maps will lead you straight there!

What to bring: Water , warm and comfy walking shoes, weather-appropriate layers, bug spray a small blanket and yoga mat for the indoor Yoga Nidra session.

Note: $5 from each ticket will go toward supporting the conservation efforts at Dogwood Canyon Audubon .
