Join us for our 4th annual Lights Out, Texas! symposium. Our best one yet, this year we will explore the innovation happening across the state to reduce collisions.
We are so impressed by the work that happened this past spring and look forward to sharing a full report with you soon. In the meantime, we hope to tease your excitement and celebrate our summer migrants by attending our upcoming gathering.
For years, conservation organizations, businesses, and universities have been tackling the problem of bird collisions in Texas –one of the deadliest states at night for migratory birds.
Participate and network at this visionary event with researchers, partners, and experts in the field to collaborate and share insights on bird collisions and how we can reduce them. Hear from 12 professionals and experts in the field discussing avian collisions, habitat, glass, and more! Everyone is welcome to join the conversations and learn.
New this year, “Science on Tap”, will be an evening social with dinner provided where anyone working with Lights Out, bird window collisions, or utilizing specimens for novel research can register to present a poster in a casual setting with a 2 minute “lighting talk”. Link to submit your talk in the registration link below.
Together, our efforts across sectors are helping to bend the bird curve back up from the 3 billion decline. We look forward to having you participate in this unique annual gathering to be a part of the innovative solutions to reduce avian collisions, today and tomorrow.
