Join us for an interactive class focusing on how turning our lights out at night can make a difference in the migration success of birds traveling to their summer destinations!
In Central Texas we are part of one of the most important flyways for bird migration. We can see hundreds of different bird species that travel through DFW on their way to the north for summer. But our bright lights at night can steer them off course or lead them to fatal injuries.
Using the new Lights Out, Texas curriculum developed by Texas Conservation Alliance, we will dive into this topic and find out how we can help support our local bird migrations.
Don't worry, it will be fun and you'll walk away knowing just what to do to help support the birds we all love!
