Audubon Texas is working to create BCT pages on our state website that helps our BCT communities call out best birding spots and partners. Our thinking is we know folks come to Audubon when they’re visiting new states/birding locations. Our hope is that by having this information readily available when people look for our centers, it will help direct people the BCT communities as well.

I have gone through the 2019 Houston BCT application and below are some of the partners and birding locations specifically called out who might be valuable to showcase on the Houston page. What are your thoughts?

Partners:

• Houston Audubon – goes to bird friendly houston page
• Houston Parks and Recreation Department – goes to habitat restoration projects or maybe the Bayou Greenways page is better fit?
• Armand Bayou Nature Center
